The Wine
Our Cabernet Franc opens with aromas reminiscent of a summer meadow-ripe mixed berries, violets, and hints of cloves. Mouthwatering flavors of blackberries, lingonberries, and hints of sage are uplifted by refreshingly dense and chewy tannins on the palate. The finish, long and soft with a lingering aftertaste, evokes the feeling of contentment one would enjoy after a long, sun-filled midsummer day.

Careful matching of clones and rootstocks in our Carneros vineyard produced a Cabernet Franc with a unique balance of freshness and complexity, along with an extraordinary density of velvety tannins.
