SAUVIGNON BLANC (FUMÉ BLANC)

Our Fumé Blanc is 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes; roughly 80% is the Musqué clone, which provides intense, complex aromatics and floral notes

Served with fillet of sole, pork loin, or savory goat cheese, this wine’s crisp and balanced acidity compliments the flavor of these dishes beautifully.

CHARDONNAY

Miljenko “Mike” Grgich made Chardonnay a household name in the late 1970s and has continued to make Chardonnays that defy expectations.  Using old-world grape growing and winemaking techniques, our Chardonnay is not subjected to malolactic fermentation, which preserves its wonderful acidity.

Enjoy this exceptionally elegant Chardonnay with salmon, roasted chicken, grilled pork, or creamy cheeses.

ROSÉ

Our winemakers have created a crisp and fragrant Rosé fit for any occasion, whether you’re pairing it with food or just having a glass.

ZINFANDEL

Our Zinfandel comes exclusively from our 34-acre Miljenko’s vineyard.  Located in the rolling foothills just northwest of Calistoga, it is the warmest of our five vineyards. This classic Zinfandel displays notes of strawberries, raspberries, black pepper, and spiced plums.

Pair this classic wine with ćevapčići (Croatian sausages), rack of lamb, steak sandwiches, sausage pizza, or meat lasagna.

MERLOT

Our Merlot grapes are grown both in the cooler American Canyon and Carneros vineyards as well as in our warmer Yountville vineyards. Blended from all three vineyards, this balanced, robust Merlot combines the richness and depth of the warmer climates with the perfume and bright fruitiness of the cooler climates.

Enjoy this Merlot with grilled flank steak, lamb burgers, duck, braised veal, or eggplant parmesan.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

The heart of our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes from our old-vine Yountville vineyards, with grapes from our Rutherford and Calistoga vineyards to round out the blend. The result is a full-bodied, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with pure flavors and a pronounced sense of place.

This wine pairs well with seared steak, Gorgonzola gnocchi, beef bourguignon, BBQ ribs, rack of lamb, or ratatouille.

VIOLETTA, LATE HARVEST

Our classically produced late harvest wine is the result of Botrytis Cinerea, a beneficial mold that evaporates moisture while concentrating the flavor in the berry but yielding very little juice when we press the grapes. This unique wine has both sweetness and a refreshing acidity that makes it suitable for pairing with a wide variety of sweet or savory foods.

Paired with desserts, such as fruit tarts, crème brûlée, or rich cheeses, or served all by itself, Violetta makes a lasting impression at the end of any meal.
