Thanks to club member Jeffrey Russel and many other bidding club members and fans, Grgich Hills Estate’s “Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Judgement of Paris with Miljenko ‘Mike’ Grgich” lot was the top e-auction at this year’s Auction Napa Valley
This annual auction brings together extraordinary vintners and their wines, talented chefs from around the globe, and the beauty of the Napa Valley, all to benefit healthcare and education in Napa County.
Our auction lot was for impossible-to-find wines that demonstrate why Mike is called “The King of Chardonnay” and also show his deft touch with Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted from some of the oldest Cabernet vines in the Napa Valley.
The lot also included a weekend at our Victorian Home, a private behind-the-scenes tour and tasting at the winery. This will be topped off by dinner with Miljenko “Mike” Grgich and other family members, who will hand pick wines from the cellar.
