Ivo Jeramaz, our winemaker, quotes this as a miracle harvest and yield! We have not received this kind of yield since 2010, and the temperatures have been beautiful for picking.

Our vineyard team begins harvesting grapes at midnight and through the night; this night picking helps keep the grapes cool which is important to maintain acid levels and prevent any premature fermentation. In the morning our cellar team receives the grapes on the crush pad where the journey to the bottle begins at the winery.

Many members of the team have been with us for five, ten and twenty-four harvests here at Grgich Hills. We thank the cellar team and the vineyard team for their astounding work, dedication and long hours they put in to make this vintage possible.
